Bolton Atelier is a family-oriented, husband-and-wife, minority-owned business where grooming meets artistry.
Founded by Lexi and James Bolton, the atelier combines professional barbering and makeup artistry with a commitment to exceptional client care. Lexi began her beauty career with MAC Cosmetics in 2011 and has since built a successful career as an independent makeup artist. James, who grew up around salons and barbershops, launched his barbering career in 2015 and is known for his precision and dedication to the client experience.
As parents of four, family, purpose, and legacy are at the heart of everything we do. Our experience providing bridal beauty and grooming services across the country inspired the creation of Bolton Atelier—a space where artistry, craftsmanship, and meaningful connections come together.
The word atelier means workshop or studio, reflecting our belief that beauty and grooming are both art forms. More than a barber shop or beauty lounge, Bolton Atelier is a thoughtfully designed space where clients feel confident, valued, and cared for.
